2. House design process: Client, builder and Design draftsman meet to finalize a home floorplan and style.
3. Cost finalization, Specifications: After finalized plan, builder briefs client of house specifications, cost break breakdowns and allowances.
4. Financing and Agreement: If proof of adequate financing is obtained and both parties are in agreement, a contract is signed.
5. Permits : Builder obtains necessary permits to construct home.
6. Construction Phase: Commencement of house construction begins.
7. Final Walk-through: Upon house completion, builder and client do a final walk-through to answer any questions the home buyer may have.
8. Settlement: Settlement occurs when final payment is made to builder and full ownership is transferred from builder to client.
9. 1 yr. warranty: Client supplies builder a list of warranty items to be determined for warranty work.
